Dr. Foye Ikyaator
Dr. Foye Ikyaator is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin’s School of Medicine and, like all young doctors, she entered the world ready to make an impact and bring lifesaving treatments to her patients. But after completing her residency at Emory University School of Medicine and working full-time in several emergency rooms around Houston and Atlanta, she quickly realized that the size and broad focus of many Emergency facilities made it difficult to serve her patients with the attention and care that’s critical so critical emergency medicine.
It was then that she and her husband, Orseer, conceived an Emergency Room facility which put the speed of care and patient satisfaction at its core. In 2015, the couple opened their first ER facility, Life Savers Emergency Room in Houston. In addition to having the shortest wait times in the area, Life Savers has become known as the emergency facility where patients are treated like family.
In her day to day work, Dr. Ikyaator combines her expertise in Emergency Medicine with her degree in Nutrition Science. She uses it to counsel patients suffering from the complications of chronic conditions and provides the nutritional and lifestyle advice they need to better manage their health. Dr. Ikyaator and her staff have become mainstays at local fairs and community events, as they share their message of prevention and early detection within their community and beyond.
Her contributions to medicine along with her innovative approach to Emergency Room care have secured her a spot in Essence Magazine’s “Power 100 List” of Influencers, a featured interview on NRP and profiles in Ebony Magazine and Texas Diversity Magazine, among others.
Dr. Ikyaator and her lovely family reside in the Greater Houston area.
